Hi, I’m Melissa!
A Birth & postpartum doula, lactation counselor & mom
I’m here to support you emotionally, physically, and wholeheartedly through pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding & beyond!
I live in Kingston, NH, with my husband and our two children, and I feel deeply honored to walk alongside families during such a transformative time.
When I’m not working with families, I love spending time with my own, being outside, walking my dogs, kayaking, skiing, staying active, or reading a good book.
I bring that same calm, grounded energy into every birth and postpartum visit.
MY BACKGROUND
& EXPERIENCE
I’m a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, Advanced VBAC Doula, Spinning Babies® trained, and a Lactation Counselor through the Healthy Children Project.

I will be sitting for the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) exam in April 2026.

MY APPROACH
My journey with infertility gave me a deep appreciation for the beauty and vulnerability of this season of life. It’s what drew me to birth work and continues to fuel my passion for helping families feel supported, heard, and empowered.
I’ve also played a hands-on role in raising my niece and nephews, which shaped the care I give today.
Before becoming a doula, I worked for nearly two decades as a dental hygienist, helping patients manage anxiety and feel at ease.
I bring that same calm, steady presence to every birth and postpartum visit.
My goal is to help you feel empowered to make informed choices and to offer unwavering support every step of the way.
I’m here for you—genuinely, compassionately, and without judgment—so you can feel strong, supported, and at peace during one of the most important times in your life.

MY BRAND STANDS FOR
COMPASSIONATE,
PERSONALIZED
& EMPOWERING CARE
I believe every family deserves to feel seen, heard & supported —without judgment and with full respect for their choices.

Whether I’m supporting a birth, helping a new parent through the early postpartum days, or troubleshooting a feeding challenge, my goal is always to create a calm, safe, and encouraging space.
I meet families where they’re at—emotionally, physically, and culturally—approaching every relationship with warmth, integrity, and deep listening.

Client LOVE
“When each of our three kids were born, I had to go back to work just days after we brought them home. I always worried about leaving my wife alone with all the exhaustion and recovery — but our third pregnancy was especially hard.
We lost one of our identical twins at 20 weeks, and the other twin was high risk for a stroke. It was a stressful time, and the anxiety didn’t stop when we came home from the hospital.
Having Melissa there was like having family you could actually lean on. She supported my wife through that heartbreaking loss and all the scary doctor’s appointments. After the birth, she gave my wife the emotional support and extra set of hands she really needed.
She would rock the baby so my wife could rest, make sure she ate, help with the house, and just sit and listen when she needed to talk about the loss or the fears that came up. She was so gentle with our older kids too, making sure they felt loved in the chaos.
I could go to work and not be sick with worry because I knew my family wasn’t alone. Coming home to a calmer, cared-for family meant everything to me. I honestly can’t imagine how we would have made it through those early weeks without Melissa.
If you’re a partner wondering if a postpartum doula is worth it — take my word for it. She’s worth it. I’d recommend her to anyone.”
Darren,
Father of 3

“I don’t have enough words to express the gratitude I feel for the unwavering support my doula provided through some of the most challenging and beautiful moments of my life.
From the birth of my first child and the waves of postpartum depression and anxiety that followed, she was my anchor — reminding me gently and consistently that what I was feeling was normal, that I was not alone, and that I was doing the best I could.
When I became pregnant again, with a toddler at home and a husband working long hours, she was once again by my side. Whether I needed emotional reassurance, help navigating breastfeeding struggles, or simply someone to talk to when the days felt long and overwhelming — she was only ever a phone call away. Her presence was calm, compassionate, and grounding.
During my third pregnancy, when I experienced the heartbreaking loss of a twin and gave birth to a premature baby who needed a NICU stay, I truly don’t know how I would have coped without her. She not only helped me process the deep grief and fear I was facing but also stepped in to support my two young boys at home — giving me the space I needed to bond with and care for my daughter in the NICU.
Her support extended far beyond what I ever imagined a doula could provide. She held my hand through the highs and lows of motherhood, helped me find strength when I felt depleted, and made sure I never had to walk any part of the journey alone.
I couldn’t have done it without her.”
